This walking tour, conducted by the Battle House Hotel’s historian, will lead you through the site’s 200+ year history that includes its military past, its opening as a hotel in 1852, a 1905 fire which caused $450,000 in damage to the site, its rebuilding as the Battle House Hotel designed by New York architect Frank Andrews in 1908, and a 1913 visit by U.S. President Woodrow Wilson.
